Job Description:
A property and casualty client is seeking a statutory accountant to help with the preparation of the yellow book filing, as well as other quarter and year-end close activities due to a vacancy. This consultant will be required to go into the office one day per week for the first three weeks and then will work from home for the remainder of the position.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of insurance accounting experience with focus on statutory accounting
• BA/BS degree in Accounting/Finance
• Advanced Excel skills (working with PivotTables and formulas)
Preferred:
• Experience with FIS Enterprise Accounting System preferred, but not required
• Experience with TCP Annual Statement Software preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of SQL preferred, but not required
