Summary of Position
Transflo is looking for a Product Manager of Marketplace to join our growing team. This high impact role is an opportunity for you to build a marketplace of connected 3rd party products. You will also be responsible for identifying, launching, negotiating, and managing strategic relationships to drive the growth of our Mobile and Telematics business. As Transflo continues a period of accelerated growth, we need a top-notch Product Manager to take our vision to the next level.
Transflo has integrated several key marketplace products within our Mobile and Telematics business and we need a top tier Product Manager to drive this aspect of our business to the next level. This role will focus on building a marketplace approach that makes it easier for Transflo to add additional products to our ecosystem maximizing ROI for our current customers while minimizing internal impacts of the growing ecosystem. This position will focus on developing and maintaining strategic 3rd party relationships while building a marketplace to sell, onboard and optimize the products.
Our ideal candidate will be an intellectually curious, driven individual to join our growing product management team. Be a part of shaping our industry leading SaaS products for the supply chain members. As a Product Manager of Marketplace, you will have product ownership and responsibilities from the identification of ideas, to execution of the product, to setting the system up for supportability and maximizing the customer value. To do this you will work externally close with Customers and Partners and internally with Development, QA, Support, Sales and Operations.
Job Responsibilities:
• Represent “voice of the customer” in everything we do.
• Ideate and define new features, capabilities, and content to serve needs of the supply chain
• Lead team in creating the eBOL and ePOD that is widely adopted in the supply chain
• Grow both revenue and profit through identification/delivery of SaaS applications
• Develop Partnership with vendors that align with our mission
• Draft user-requirements based upon customer and market inputs.
• Partner with Technology, UX, and Analytics teams to define and develop SaaS products
• Participate in agile stand-ups with geographically disperse teams to build and iterate.
• Plan product/feature launches in collaboration with Marketing.
• Drive product development from start to finish
• Motivate and lead the team to product execution
• Simplify complex product challenges for current and future users
• Design product across multiple verticles for market opportunity
Job Requirements:
• College Degree in Business, Engineering or Computer Science, preferred, experience commensurate with education
• 10+ years of experience within Saas based Product Management roles
• Knowledge of Transportation/Trucking industry a plus
• Ability to grasp and train technical aspects of Transflo Products
• Align with Transflo’s Mission Statement
• Use knowledge of technical and industry trends to drive innovation
