Job Description
Ledgent F&A currently has an opening for a Senior Property Accountant to join an established firm in Tampa, FL.  If you have a progressive accounting background in Real Estate or Construction then we want to speak with you!  This position will support the Corporate Controller with the following duties:
Responsibilities
• Analyze and reconcile general ledger and subsidiaries, book entries and corrections accordingly.
• Perform calculations for revenue recognition.
• Assess cash requirements and issues capital calls and draw requests
• Produce monthly financial reporting; balance sheets, profit and loss statements, supporting schedules and reports as needed.
• Develop and maintain cost allocation methodologies.
• Calculate and book accruals as needed.
• Issue monthly billings and book accounts receivables accordingly.
• Prepare and review bank reconciliations.
• Assist with external audits; research requests and prepare schedules.
• Process contracts, change orders and corresponding invoices; perform reconciliations a needed.
Qualifications • BS Degree in Accounting or Business Related
• Intermediate knowledge of Sage preferred
• At least 1 full years of construction/ real estate experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
