Quiet Professionals, LLC is looking for an experienced Full Stack Web Developer who will create new and support existing geospatial applications. This role will have responsibility for designing both the front-end and back-end architectures. The ideal candidate will be required to see a project from conception to final product, requiring good organizational skills and attention to detail. You will also develop and maintain our custom geospatial software solutions. Our ideal candidate is someone who has a desire to make a direct impact through the creation of user-friendly experiences that are both functional and attractive. An interest in innovation and the implementation of new technologies is key to your success.
Design and develop both front-end and back-end geospatial web application features that leverage Esri APIs or open-source platform. Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code. Understand complex concepts and be familiar with product prototyping. Be self-driven to learn, push new ideas, think creatively, and teach others. Work both independently and on a team.
Must have:
• U.S. Citizenship
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Information Systems/Computer Science or equivalent experience working with web development technologies
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in developing complex web applications in multiple languages/protocols, including ASP.NET Core & Entity Framework Core (.NET Core 3.1), C#, JavaScript (Angular 9 or 10), JSON/XML, etc.)
• Experience with development and support of relational database management systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQLoftware engineering experience in developing complex web applications in multiple
• Experience designing and implementing Restful APIs Experience with Esri ArcGIS / Portal / ArcGIS JavaScript API a plus
• Excellent HTML, JavaScript, and CSS skills Knowledge of web technologies and protocols (HTTP, Rest, web APIs, HTML5, etc.)
• Hands-on coding experience modern JavaScript frameworks, especially Angular
Additional Requirements
• Eligibility to acquire a security clearance
Preferred
• Familiarity with Agile Development methodologies
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity or experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, and/or other cloud environments
• Proficiency with TypeScript Experience with React, Next.js, and Node.js
• Familiarity with the ArcGIS Online platform and ArcGIS API for JavaScript Experience delivering features for consumer-facing software products
