Job Description
The Vice President, Software Development, PM is a member of the R&D management team reporting to the CTO and is responsible for directing and managing the development and technical design of our PM and Payment Platforms.
All activities must be in compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity laws, HIPAA, ERISA and other regulations, as appropriate.
Essential Functions: In addition to working in accordance with appropriate conduct and behavioral standards, specific responsibilities of this role include:
• Create development strategy for the Practice Management and Payment platforms alongside product management team.
• Manage all development for the PM and Payments platforms.
• Assist the CTO in coaching the development departments into a world class agile organization.
• Manage departmental budget.
• Lead 1:1 meetings with each team member.
• Lead weekly product strategy sessions with CTO and Management team.
• Participate in weekly 1:1 meetings with CTO and SVP, Product.
• Participate in weekly product development project and agile tribe ceremonies.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of related experience.
• 6 + years of work experience in all phases of computer software development in a related field.
• 3+ years in a senior management role directing a staff of 20+ personnel.
• Demonstrated ability to lead people and delegate tasks.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities, including demonstrable experience in workflow management systems and/or service delivery.
• Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced, demanding, and agile environment.
• Demonstrated problem solving, analysis, and resolution at strategic and functional levels.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team.
• Possess personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to corporate mission.
• Ability to establish and maintain a professional working relationship with all levels of staff and client-base.
• Willingness to be a part of a team-unit and cooperate in the accomplishment of departmental goals and objectives.
• Direct experience in either Practice Management, Payments, or Accounting.
• Ability to travel up to 40% of the time (once travel restrictions end)
