Perform PI system administration duties.
• System health monitoring
• System and audit logs review
• Configuring tags on the Enterprise PI Data Replication Server per site requests and/or tag management automated program
• Configuration of Enterprise PI asset framework and event framework (AF/EF) to support data analytics projects
Maintain Enterprise PI SDLC to align to system changes
• Use Vitalize change control and DocIT validation tool to complete configuration changes to the Enterprise PI system
Create and/or update SOPs that focus on Enterprise PI standards including PI System Administration, PI Tag and Data Management, PI AF/Analytics Management, etc. Continuously improve the OSIsoft PI system architecture to ensure real-time acquisition and reporting systems remain current in the ever-changing IT / Data landscape. Lead/facilitate integration to third party application like SIMCA, AWS, etc. Establish connectivity to external system like CMMS, Discoverant, LIMS, SAP, etc. Support and assist with Enterprise OSI-PI and component upgrades Lead and Plan Enterprise PI infrastructure and application upgrades. Lead new sites PI implementation rollouts
• Manage project end-to-end
• Work with hosting and networking group to install infrastructure
• Instantiate/configure/qualify new PI interfaces to align with new site rollouts
• Work with local QA team to qualify validate overall system
Provide Tier 2(SME) support to site PI systems as requested by site PI admins Periodically monitor site PI system health and actively look for improvements to site PI configurations Broadcast systemic issues and their remediation to site PI teams (e.g., backups) Define standard BMS PI architecture for all sites and provide guidance to sites for alignment. Manage vendor consultants for PI application project consultant.
