Position Description:
The Senior Programmer will provide Software Engineering, Development, and Programming support to military operations at SOCOM.
What You ll Get to Do:
• Participate in Systems Analysis and Design.
• Assist with Systems Architecture or Data Modeling.
• Conduct RDBMS and/or NoSQL/Non-relational database development.
• Write advanced queries and stored procedures.
• Participate in the development of various COTS/GOTS software applications and solutions using various development languages or frameworks such as .Net/JAVA/JavaScript/Python/R.
You ll Bring these Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related Information Technology discipline.
• 10+ years of development experience in a role as Programmer/Analyst, Senior Programmer or Application Developer.
• 2 years of experience (can be concurrent with the 10 years above) performing the role of Lead Developer and/or Data Architect.
• Baseline and Privileged Use Certified Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level I; IAT Level II must be obtained within 6 months of start date.
• Top Secret Clearance desired but must possess a current DoD Secret clearance and be upgradable to Top Secret within 4 months and eligible for SCI access and ACCM read-on.
