Purpose of Job The candidate selected for this position will work on the Enterprise Knowledge Management team which is responsible for defining, improving, mitigating risks, and governing the processes and standards for how knowledge is captured and shared at USAA.
This particular role involves ongoing monitoring and executing processes within the established service level objectives for business customer requests submitted via Intake methods, including:
o Execution of the publishing process, performing the QA of procedures written by business Subject Matter Experts for adherence to the established content standards, and then publishing them.
o Provides feedback to authors to guide them to create and maintain optimal procedure content.
o Execution of business customer requests submitted through additional Intake methods.
Under direct supervision, supports the team in the creation and implementation of effective content and knowledge management needs and solutions. Works with cross functional team members in the development and implementation of key content management initiatives. Job Requirements • Identifies and manages existing and emerging risks that stem from business activities and the job role.
• Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled.
• Follows written risk and compliance policies and procedures for business activities.
• Under direct supervision and guidance, supports a compliant, controlled, efficient, and effective process, including assisting in identifying and implementing refinements and solutions for knowledge-related processes and guidelines for processes with low-level complexity.
• Executes knowledge-related processes and capabilities, such as the review, validation and publishing of resources, under direct supervision.
• Applies foundational knowledge of the industry and business to assist with alignment of business deliverable processes and capabilities with business needs.
• Gathers information and conducts research to support knowledge-related issues and project activities.
• Assists with the development and execution of communication plans for customers and impacted stakeholders.
• Prepares reports to measure project and process performance, shared within the team, with department and business leadership, and customers.
• In coordination with team members, identifies, engages, and influences business stakeholders and subject matter experts on process improvements within an Experience.
• Participates in the coordination, preparation, of training materials for customers and peers.
• Participates in the execution of the publishing process and active monitoring and execution of front door requests.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree, OR, 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
• Up to 2 years of experience assessing, enabling, and implementing effective content and knowledge management needs and solutions
• Basic understanding of Knowledge Management principles and processes
• Demonstrated communication skills
• Demonstrated organization skills with attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
• Ability to review and validate complex procedure documentation based on USAA Content and Brand style guidelines
• Experience providing feedback to business partners
• Proficient experience with KDIM or other Content Management or Internet Publishing System
• Basic to intermediate HTML coding
• Working knowledge of Process Engineering methodologies
• Working knowledge of Project Management methodologies (i.e., Agile, Waterfall)
