Well established farming company in the Greater Owensboro / Henderson Area is searching for an Accountant who will have core responsibilities in Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Financial Analysis and Reporting.
This position will report to the controller and be highly visible interacting frequently with owners and other stakeholders. This company is in an aggressive growth mode and there will be much opportunity for growth within the organization
Starting pay is based upon experience but is expected to be in the $40,000 to $60,000 range
Job highlights:
• Responsibilities include but are not be limited to: Financial analysis, General Ledger, A/P and Reports
• Assist the controller in all accounting operations based on industry accounting principles
• Prepare financial statements and statistical reports accurately and timely
• Conduct monthly, quarterly and annual close processes
• You will develop a thorough knowledge of the farming and futures industries
