Title – Big Data Developer
Location – Tampa, FL
• Implement manage and continuously improve AML Big Data software development processes solution delivery model engagement model and support model consistently across all regions
• Manage global and regional teams of software developers data modelers and technology analysts through software development life cycle across multiple programs and multiple regions
• Work with program managers to create and align solution delivery plans to program milestones track progress and report status risk issues and actions on all aspects of solution delivery
• Own all aspects of SDLC documentation related to solution delivery including technical design construction validation implementation and post implementation across all programs within the groups book of work
• Manage all infrastructure demand procurement and implementation including all infrastructure risks and issues related to Big Data development and solution delivery environment
• Manage global cross program risks issues and action items and report program delivery status to group manager and other senior managers within the organization
• Manage resource demand budget forecast allocation and other development resource lifecycle activities across all programs
• Manage global development resource pool all book of work deliverables risks issues actions and dependencies through the execution of all programs globally
• Responsible for technology knowledge management adherence to strict SDLC discipline and firms technology standards across all solution delivery activities
Qualifications KNOWLEDGE EXPERIENCE
• At least 15 years of progressive experience with increasing responsibility in a financial services organization delivering technology solutions in multiple roles
• Extensive experience delivering complex technology solutions in a regulatory compliance environment for global financial service organizations
• Must have strong organization skills managing a large team of direct and matrix resources across the globe
• Must have multiple years of solution delivery experience using Big Data technologies
• Hands on experience with Cloudera stack of Big Data technologies and ecosystem
• Must have 10 years of SDLC processes and tools experience must be familiar with Waterfall and Agile software development models on Big Data projects preferably as a Scrum Master or managing a team of Scrum Masters
• Extensive experience with all components in Hadoop ecosystem including but not limited to Hive Spark Python Pig Oozie Yarn Sqoop Impala Datameer and Platfora
• Must have direct and matrix resource management experience
• Hands on experience data acquisition processes and tools data transformation process and tools and business process orchestration on Big Data platform is required
• Must demonstrate a proven track record of application development and delivery on the Big Data platform on global scale
