In advance of the 2020 Census, the U.S. Census Bureau is recruiting thousands of people for full time and part time jobs with flexible hours across the country. The results of the 2020 Census will help determine each state’s representation in Congress, as well as how certain funds are spent for schools, hospitals, roads, and more. This is your chance to play a part in history and help ensure that everyone in your community is counted!

Applicants from these surrounding cities and counties are encouraged to apply: Breckinridge, Bullitt, Butler, Calloway, Carlisle, Christian, Crittenden, Daviess, Edmonson, Graves, Grayson, Hancock, Hardin, Hart, Henderson, Hopkins, Jefferson, Larue, Livingston, Logan, Lyon, Marshall, McCracken, McLean, Meade, Muhlenberg, Nelson, Ohio, Oldham, Shelby, Simpson, Spence, Todd, Trigg, Trimble, Union, and Warren. This is NOT a remote position, must be local in these areas.
Some responsibilities include:
• Perform field enumeration activities in local communities.
• May assist local community to complete the census questionnaire.
• May assist with recruiting activities on census jobs.
Hours: Flexible and dependent on your availability; you make your own hours. Ideal for people already with full time jobs. Full time and part time positions available.
Location: Combination of working from home and travel within your local community.
To be eligible for a 2020 Census job, you must:
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have a valid email address.
• Complete an online application and answer assessment questions. (Some assessment questions are available in Spanish. However, an English proficiency test may also be required.)
• Bilingual preferred, but not required.
