Role and Responsibilities
Summary
Supports Information Technology staff by assisting with day-to-day information security tasks on Information Systems at an entry level.
Duties and Responsibilities

• General Hardware and Software Troubleshooting
• Assist with remediation of network audit issues
• Provide technical and administrative support to department
• Gather data and prepare reports as necessary
• Software review and documentation
• Use of SIEM technology to assist in auditing of network events
• Any additional duties as assigned
Qualifications

• Good diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of Computer Networking
• Pursuing degree (Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Security, or Information Technology  desired)
• Experience in user application and operating system support
• Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions
• Customer Service oriented
• Detail oriented
• Limited (or greater) understanding of Linux Operating Systems
• Detailed understanding of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems
• Willingness to learn new procedures and applications
Education and/or Experience
• Security+ Certification (ideal, but not required)
Security Responsibilities
Compliance with all company Information Systems security policies and procedures. Shall be assigned specific responsibility for Information Security by immediate supervisor or department management. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. Incumbent shall execute company non-disclosure agreement prior to access to any controlled information.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

May be required to sit down for long lengths of time.
• Able to lift and carry a minimum of 35 pounds and manual dexterity to bend, stoop, squat and stand for prolonged periods.
• May be required to climb stairs.
• Will be required to look at computer screens for long periods.
