KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Understand the payment products and service offerings in detail, including the functionality and technology context, and respond to inquiries from partner applications, ICRM and other stakeholders
• Coordinate, prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations explaining CitiScreening features to Partner Applications , ICRM and Business Groups within Citi
• Understand regulatory requirements, payment market trends for the organization’s products and services
• Identify business problems that represent key enhancement opportunities and align with CitiScreening Product Strategy
• Serve as the Lead for Onboarding Product Processors onto CitiScreening Platform
• Participate in partner meetings to understand requirements and help identify solutions that benefit all stakeholders
• Break down business problems into feature sets that can be defined for technical teams and executed as part of a release
• Liaise with Partner Application Technical Teams, Business Integration Project Managers to understand and determine the scope of CitiScreening Integration
• Work closely with ICRM, quality assurance teams, and developers to facilitate and guide the product processor(s) Onboarding process on to CitiScreening Platform
• Review and Approval of Transaction Mapping Artifacts and Functional Specifications document provided by Partner Applications and ensure total adherence to Citiscreening Interface Specifications
• Manage and execute a repeatable release process for CitiScreening Application
• Provide Functional support during SIT /UAT phase while Onboarding new Product Processors onto CitiScreening
• Collaborate with Business, Compliance subject matter experts to define future requirements for Transaction Screening
• Maintain the release backlog in partnership with engineering and quality assurance teams
• Participate in release and iteration planning along with Product Senior leadership and software engineering teams to deliver valuable capabilities in each release
• Participates in Technical Architecture assessments and recommendations for CitiScreening application to enhance Operational/System efficiencies and upgradations to be in-line with Citi standards
• Performs & Manages Technical assessments for CitiScreening Onboarding implementations and build internal processes to support quality technical deliverables.
• Oversees the deliverables from Onsite and Offshore teams within the group and from various departments to ensure adherence to master plans and schedules. This includes project coordination of ensuring the plans for achieving these goals runs smoothly and efficiently and projects are completed on time.
• Facilitate the identification of risks and issues which impact project delivery and ensure mitigation strategies are developed and executed by developing technical solutions to project problems.
• Recognize areas for internal improvement and develop plans for implementing them.
• Facilitate communication of status, issue, and risk disposition to stakeholders, including senior management, on a timely basis.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
• IT Business Lead Analyst with in-depth knowledge of Payment Networks, Payment Products, Transaction Lifecycle and Transaction Monitoring
• Extensive knowledge and considerable experience in implementation of various Payment Products and deep understanding of Payment formats ( SEPA, SWIFT, ACH, ISO20022 formats)
• In depth understanding for end to end transaction processing and all the associated functionalities to reduce false positives
• Must have sound understanding of Repaired Transactions, Context Based Screening and Disposition Reapplication features in Citiscreening
• Must have good understanding of Global Interdict(GI) Screening engine and methodologies of Screening
• Must have good knowledge of Payment Solutions such as Oracle FLEXCUBE and other equivalent products. It is desirable to have hands on experience on such products
• Must have critical understanding on CitiScreening Alert Workspace to recommend appropriate configuration for prospective product processor(s)
• In-depth knowledge & understanding of OFAC Regulation Requirements, FinCen Regulations, Transaction Screening as well as the processes & procedures of the Compliance Technology group
• Prior experience in the financial industry, especially on Payments, and Compliance Surveillance knowledge will allow the prospective candidate to hit the ground running
• Should have excellent communications, strategy and problem management skills
• Experience speaking in front of and interacting with groups of professionals of varying backgrounds and technical ability
• Ability to arrive at creative solutions that are not readily apparent and to turn unclear facts into logical patterns and concepts
• Ability to mentor and/or manage other resources within the capability
• Must have experience in coordination of multiple concurrent initiatives while relying on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Candidate needs to be highly client focused, highly motivated, and hard working. Ability to effectively work with a wide range of business units and technology groups.
• Must have strong problem solving and analytical skills with a proven ability to multi-task and successfully execute challenging technical, functional and integration problems.

EXPECTED OUTCOMES (WHAT WILL “SUCCESS” LOOK LIKE IN 12 MONTHS)

Ideal candidates will look to provide critical functional and business acumen for application development and implementation management and will excel at managing the translation of business and technical requirements into an executable action plan. “Success” in this role will be the ability to align business and technology goals to meet Global Sanctions requirements. In 12 months he or she should be able to understand gaps, and formulate a plan to address, keeping in mind efficiency and cost. To be successful in this role, the candidate must demonstrate an ability to facilitate the implementation of projects that routinely have tight schedules and regulatory committed dates as well as ensure the consistent transparency to Compliance, Operations and Business lines of the status of application development activities.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS (KEY COMPETENCIES, MINIMUM YEARS OF EXPERIENCE, MINIMUM PRIOR SPAN OF CONTROL, TECHNICAL SKILLS)

Technology :
• Must have experience of working on Sanction Screening Applications, Screening Engine Global Interdict, Payment Applications, Know Your Customer(KYC) and Anti Money Laundering Platform
• Extensive experience in reviewing transactions formats from various product processors for implementation of Selective Screening, Context Based Screening and Disposition Re-Application features of CitiScreening
• Critical understanding on CitiScreening Alert Workspace to recommend appropriate configuration for prospective product processor(s)
• Extensive experience in implementation of various Payment Products and deep understanding of Payment formats ( SEPA, SWIFT, ACH, ISO20022 formats)
• Must have good knowledge of Payment Solutions such as Oracle FLEXCUBE and other equivalent products. It is desirable to have hands on experience on such products
• Must have in-depth knowledge of various type of Integration methodologies of Partner applications with CitiScreening
• Fundamental understanding of relational database design concepts [e.g. table design, table relationships (e.g. one-to-one, one-to-many), primary and foreign key designations, etc.]
• Fundamental understanding of User Experience (Design) and User Interface (Development) practices – able to contribute in rapid prototyping
• Must have sound knowledge of XSD/XML Design
• Experience in handling end to end payment transformation projects and their integration with CitiScreening
• Experience with relational database systems and SQL programming skills using PL/SQL on Oracle
• Experience in Microsoft Office tools such as Visio, Word, Powerpoint, JIRA
