Job Description
SNI Technology is currently searching for a Desktop Support resources to support our client's operation center in Tampa, FL. This is a 6-12month contract to hire opportunity! Our client is ready to interview and onboard candidates quickly. Ideally we're looking for customer service oriented help desk professionals with at least 3 years of IT support experience and a Bachelors Degree in Computer Sciences or other relevant field.
Working hours are 1st shift, Monday through Friday. Role will start out remote at first and then onsite once the workforce begins to return to work . Reliable transportation is required along with successfully completion of a background check and drug screen.
Rate: $18.00-20.00 per hour
Skills/Knowledge:
• Bachelors Degree required
• 3 plus years of help desk support experience in a corporate level environment preferred
• CompTIA certifications preferred
• Technical competencies required: Windows Server, Workstation O/S's and basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office and PC's
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on customer service
• Exposure to various Microsoft products including; Windows, Office, Server 2008 R2, SQL Server, IIS 7.5, Remote Desktop Services, Active Directory, etc.
• Virtual/remote support experience
• Experience working in a ticket driven environment
• Basic understanding of trouble shooting peripherals; scanning printing, network and other common components
• Must be strong in identifying latency sources
