Job Summary
AECOM is currently seeking a Director, IT Business Relationship Manager (BRM) for our Design & Consultancy Services (DCS) business unit. Will report to the Southeast Region Executive and serve as a critical member of our global IT leadership team. This role can be remote and effectively support the Southeast Region.
Major tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Ensuring service levels are met, delivery is of the proper quality, assisting the AECOMs pursuit of work, driving innovation and ensuring technology demand is captured.
• Managing communications to stakeholders, employees and IT evangelists including for strategy, project status and IT performance.
• Serving as the primary escalation path.
• Serving as project sponsor or project leader for key initiatives and participating in initiatives.
• Working with super users/constituents to drive business requirements and acceptance criteria for all IT delivery.
• Collaborating with Global CIO, Integrated Global IT COEs, Geography IT and third parties to develop and support technology requirements and initiatives.
• Serving as a special advisor to regional executives helping them understand technology and matching the demand for technology with supply of resources and capabilities we offer.
• Establishing business partnerships with Business Line Leaders and Regional Executives by possessing a knowledge of their strategy and involvement in critical strategic planning.
• Participating in client presentations and pursuits where technology is a key differentiator.
• Partnering with operations leaders to define IT investments and initiatives that support regional strategies.
• Providing input into and facilitating communication with technology and innovation boards.
• Tracking and communicating technology trends and tools as it applies to AECOM;s end markets and business goals through academic and strategic partners, vendors, and other resources.
• Serving as advocate, POC and solutions advisor for business partners focused on project support including BIM, collaboration tools with clients and general project support.
The successful candidate will be a hands-on, collaborative, technology leader and strategic thinker, skilled in developing strategic plans/programs meeting business objectives. Skills, experience and attributes include: focus on customer and client satisfaction.

• Technology breadth that includes experience in IT infrastructure and applications development with ability to understand technical requirements.

• A science, engineering, business or technology-related degree.
• Proven teambuilding and influencing skills along with integrity and experience, to effectively address needs and challenges of AECOM leaders and clients.
• Proven ability to take charge, execute, overcome barriers and challenges and deliver results.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that build positive relationships.
• Advanced communication and presentation skills with demonstrable experience in working with executive management.
• Has demonstrated cross-cultural effectiveness with a global mindset.
• Strong leadership and management skills with enthusiastic, confident and inspiring style the ability to be decisive and influential.
• Demonstrable business experience and IT leader (versus only a technology leader).
• Collaborative style that includes the views of others in recommendations and decisions.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to influence and navigate difficult situations.
• Develops short- and/or long-range IT program plans consistent with the information needs and priorities of the functional group.
• Develops and initiates programs that support functions and strategies of IT and the organization.
• Performs the personnel management functions required to develop and maintain a qualified and motivated staff.
• Reports, to Sr. IT Director, the status of programs and support activities.
• Provides consultation and support to project groups and users in operating systems.
• Has budget/financial accountability for functional area.
Minimum Requirements
• BA/BS + 12 Years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 4 years of leadership
• Minimum 10 years of progressively more challenging IT leadership roles with strong technical breadth.
