Analog Devices, Inc. is looking for an Embedded Product Security Assurance Engineer to join our Security Center of Excellence team in one of our locations in the Boston area, Tampa, FL or West Lafayette, IN.

As an Embedded Product Security Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying security vulnerabilities in embedded systems and work with individual product teams to ensure the vulnerability is corrected in a cost-effective manner. You will provide training and education to teams regarding product security to keep our products and our customers products secure and play an integral role as a member of ADIs product security assurance team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Liaise with Product Teams within ADI across multiple market segments and with external Customers
• Conduct Product Security Training sessions and educate Product Teams on Security
• Participate in Security Workshops with Product Teams
• Identify Security Vulnerabilities in embedded systems, and work with product teams to remediate issues or define mitigations in a cost-effective manner
• Member on the ADI Product Security Incident Response Team
• Execute Vulnerability Assessments
• Contribute to ADIs Product Security Roadmap
Minimum Qualifications:
• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information/Computer Security, or equivalent
• Strong understanding of Information Security concepts
• Understanding of how to read and identify issues in the following language classes (all are preferred, at least one area is required) • Native Languages (C, C++, Assembly)
• Managed Languages (C#, Java, etc.)
• Interpreted Languages (Python, Ruby, Shell, etc.)
• Hardware Definition Languages (RTL, VHDL, Verilog, etc.) - Preferred
Preferred Qualifications: (Includes Minimum)
• Knowledge of Cryptographic Algorithms and Protocols
• Experience with Threat Modeling
• Experience reading and interpreting international standards and understanding how to apply security requirements
• Experience with Hardware or Software Security mechanisms (experience with both is preferred)
• Experience with product development and understanding the product development lifecycle
• Experience with common scoring systems (CVSS, CWSS, DREAD)
• Experience with participating in a security incident capacity (CERT, CSIRT, PSIRT, VIRT, NOC, etc.)

• Able to function as a member of a team and share knowledge
• Self-motivated and driven to continually improve
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
