DACCO is looking for motivated individuals with a desire to work as a Behavioral Health Technician in our Women's Residential Services program in Tampa, FL! This is an exciting opportunity for new and experienced candidates interested in working with substance use and co-occurring mental health populations in the Behavioral Health field!

Position Description:
As a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT), you will act as role model and be responsible for monitoring ongoing client behaviors and ensuring a safe, clean, and supportive environment for treatment. You will assign client tasks and have the opportunity to assist clinical staff in the implementation of therapeutic assignments. You will also be responsible for monitoring patient medications, administering breathalyzer tests, and monitoring urine drug screens, as needed. Further, using Agency vehicles, you will be responsible for patient transport to community-based appointments. Finally, you will utilize basic computer skills to respond to emails and document client behaviors as required.
Schedule:
• Full-time, Tuesday-Saturday nights, 10:00pm-6:30am
• Part-time, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights, 10:00pm-6:30am
Position Requirements:
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid Florida Driver's License
• Ability to pass a DOT (Department of Transportation) physical
• Flexible Schedule
• All personnel are required to undergo a mandatory post-employment offer criminal background check
Required Experience:
• Behavioral Health Technician experience preferred
• Experience in a residential setting preferred
Required Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bilingual-Spanish preferred
