DACCO Behavioral Health, Inc. is searching for the right candidate to fill our LPN role on our Medication Assisted Treatment Services team in Tampa, FL! Position Description:
As an LPN in the Methadone Clinic, your primary responsibility will be administering and observing patient dosages to ensure continued care. You will be responsible for preparing and tracking take-home treatments, as well as performing basic assessments for impairments or intoxication. Further, you will assist with maintenance of medication records, billing, and inventory. Additional duties include assisting with new patient physicals, transcribing physician orders, and conducting patient screenings as needed.
This is a full-time opportunity, Monday-Friday, 5:00am-2:00pm. Rotating weekends are required.
Position Requirements:
• Flexible Schedule
• Familiar with medical terminology
• Ability to interface with medical personnel and build relationships
• Ability to accurately assess and link patients with appropriate behavioral health services
• Computer efficiency
• All personnel are required to undergo a mandatory post-employment offer criminal background check
Required Experience:
• 1 year of experience in nursing
• Experience in Behavioral Health preferred
Required Education:
• Valid Florida LPN
• Bilingual-Spanish preferred
