Description:
As a Counselor Supervisor for FIS you will be responsible for the supervision of field-based Family Intervention Specialist (FIS) Case Managers in addition to maintenance of a small caseload as needed. You will be accountable for the day-to-day program operations while implementing agency standards and act as a liaison with Child Welfare agencies throughout the Tampa Bay area. You will provide supervision and training for staff engaged in providing clinical services and collect/maintain data to generate necessary reports. Additionally, you will coordinate, assign, and monitor incoming referrals to FIS and ensure that FIS regional guidelines are followed.
This is a full-time opportunity, Monday-Friday.
Position Requirements:
• Full time availability with a flexible schedule, evening availability as needed to fit program needs
• Ability to demonstrate patience and remain calm in stressful and high-intensity situations
• Ability to rely on experience, knowledge, and judgment to provide services with limited supervision or direction
• Ability to meet quality standards
• Attention to details as it related to data collection for the program
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Comfortable working with a diverse population
• All personnel are required to undergo a mandatory post-employment offer criminal background check
Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience, preferably in the Behavioral Health field
• Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining systems to effectively serve patients
• Knowledge of the Child Welfare/Eckerd System a plus
• Experience with dual diagnosis (COD) strongly preferred
Education:
• Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field
• Master's' Degree in a Human Services field preferred
• (M)CAP certification required
