We are currently seeking a Director of Rehabilitation to complete our team. The Director of Rehabilitation, (D.O.R.) will manage and coordinate the daily operation of the Rehab Department to which they are assigned. They are responsible for managing the clinical and financial needs of the department. This includes, but is not limited to, hiring, scheduling, resolving conflict and performing disciplinary action. Additionally, the D.O.R. will manage payer source utilization, employee files, personnel, record retention, and resources and perform quality assurance measures through evaluating therapists and documentation review. It is imperative this individual leads by example providing training, direction and feedback to Rehab support staff. The D.O.R. should engage in clinical program development and implement policies and procedures to promote excellent customer service and quality patient care. They will also participate in rehab related marketing efforts in conjunction with the facility.
**Must have management experience, preferably in the skilled nursing setting**
**Prefer the disciplines of OT, PT or SLP**
**Experience with Optima & PCC preferred**

Job Requirements
Education — Must meet the educational requirements for one of the following clinical practices in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology unless waived by the Senior Director of Operations.
Training and Experience — Must possess a current state license within their field and be in good standing with the State Board of Licensure. A minimum of three to five years’ clinical experience, including two to three years in a supervisory or lead-clinician capacity unless waived by the Senior Director of Operations.
Job Knowledge — Must possess sound clinical knowledge of all disciplines, working knowledge of Managed Care, Medicare, and the Medicaid systems. Must understand the skilled nursing facility survey system. Must use effective verbal and written communication skills. Must demonstrate effective leadership and customer relations skills. Working knowledge of budgeting and financial reporting. Ability to exercise mature judgment and initiative in analyzing problems and recommending solutions to provide effective rehabilitation services. Ability to understand and react effectively to the needs of the various clinical age populations (adolescent, adult, geriatric) significant to everyday practice, evidenced through academic/clinical education and training and/or experience.
