Description
The Manager, Clinical Services manages the day-to-day operations of the Clinical Services call dept. This team consists of pharmacy technicians and pharmacists that answer clinically based questions for Humana Pharmacy members. This role requires the manager to work collaboratively across multiple sites to ensure the pharmacy members have any and all questions answered appropriately and in a timely-manager. This role will also have site director responsibilities for the Humana Pharmacy located in Tampa, FL, scheduled to open in Q4 2020. If a licensed Pharmacist in the state of Florida, role could have pharmacist-in-charge responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Manage teams of pharmacy technicians and pharmacists who interact with pharmacy member to ensure clinical and non-clinical questions are answered,  Be proactive in identifying and suggesting process improvements within the department.  Work to ensure our culture of health, well-being, and engagement continue to thrive within the teams.  Coordinate and stand-up pharmacy space within the pharmacy floor of our office located in Tampa, FL.  Serve as site director for Humana Pharmacy in Tampa.  If a licensed pharmacist in the state of FL, role may also have pharmacist-in-charge responsibilities for the site.
Required Qualifications
• Associates degree or higher
• Pharmacy experience
• 2 or more years leadership experience, preferably in PBM or Pharmacy setting
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations to senior leaders
• Able to give direction and make sound business decisions
• Working knowledge of MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
• If a non-pharmacist, then must obtain and maintain pharmacy technician certification and maintain all licensing requirements within the state of FL
Preferred Qualifications
• Pharmacist degree, licensed, and in good standing within the state of Florida
• Process Improvement Skills
• 2 years of Mail Order Pharmacy or Manufacturing experience
• Project management experience
• Significant multi-site experience preferred
• Call center experience
