Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•  Provides world-class service by treating customers with respect, providing prompt and courteous service, and listening and understanding their needs
•  Operates all lab machinery to fabricate quality eyewear that conforms to Company standards and tolerances.
•  Performs machine maintenance.
•  Reports immediately any machinery malfunctions to the Lab Manager, Lead Lab Technician or General
Manager.
•  Minimizes and accurately records breakage.
•  Works to minimize material waste during the fabrication of eyewear.
•  Maintains awareness of same day service using “Ready When Promised” production board.
•  Creates an environment of empowerment for associates so they can make the world's happiest
customers.
•  Takes a proactive approach to problem resolution. Examines the root cause of problems and
champions changes to brand rules and practices that negatively affect customer satisfaction.
•  Accurately and promptly completes all required paperwork/documentation.
•  Assists with answering phone efficiently in accordance with NVI telephone protocol.
•  Maintains awareness of all Company safety rules and standards. Wears protective eyewear at all
times in the lab.
•  Follows all store and corporate policies and procedures.
•  Makes certain that store cleanliness and waste disposal policies are adhered to at all times.
•  Builds strong, supportive, and constructive relationships with doctors, peers and company leaders.
•  Participates in regularly scheduled mandatory communications meetings in order to keep informed of
changes in corporate policies and initiatives.
•  Other duties as assigned
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
Education:
• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
