Position Highlights: Manages the Diagnostic Cardiopulmonary Services (including Echo, EKG, PFT) throughout all Moffitt campuses. Assures budget development and oversight, program development, caseload management, recruitment/hiring of staff, and overall clinic management of the departments. Provides management cross coverage and support as needed to Respiratory, Bronchoscopy, and Transport areas in absences of that manager. # The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will the following: 5 # 7 years# experience in an acute care setting Prior supervisory or management experience Knowledge of RT, Echo, EKG, PFT. Responsibilities: Oversight of departmental operations Collaboration with finance department for annual budget planning Oversight of policies and procedures Recruiter process (submitting for positions, interviewing, hiring, orienting, establishing training schedules) Management of monthly financials and productivity Development of maintenance of CQI and EBPI projects Departmental compliance for Joint Commission readiness and Medicare compliance Departmental representative for hospital committees or delegation to staff with appropriate follow-up Collaboration and communication with interdisciplinary medical and patient care team Maintaining CEUs for licensure # #Credentials and Qualifications: Bachelor#s Degree in Respiratory Therapy, Echosonography or related field FL RRT # Registered Respiratory Therapist or Echosonography (RDCS # Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer through ARDMS # American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) BLS Certification 5 # 7 years# experience in an acute care setting Prior supervisory or management experience
