START IMMEDIATELY! BrightStar Care of Tampa is currently hiring an RN or LPN to provide on-going care to a young female client in Tampa, FL area (zip code 33614). The client has down syndrome, ADHD, Seizure disorder. The ideal candidate MUST be family-orientated, able to keep the child engaged, and be a support system to be considered for this case. Candidate must like animals (the family has a pet bird). Duties include medication administration, feeding the client, and hands-on care).
Current shift availability: 24/7 hour case with 12-hour AM & PM shift available starting 7AM-7PM; 7PM-7AM, Monday through Sunday.  Can pick up as many shifts as you would like for this case.
Competitive Pay with an $800 Sign-On Bonus if the candidate accepts this particular assignment on-going.

Requirements:
· Minimum one (1) year of documented healthcare/home health experience
· Current unrestricted LPN or RN license in Florida
· Current Certified CPR
· TB skin test or chest x-ray
· Current AHCA Level II background screening
· Reliable car, valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance
· Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
· Must be eligible to work in the USA
· Must be able to use a smartphone/tablet to clock in & out and document care notes
· Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform varied physical assistance to include bed care & transfers
Responsibilities:
· Care for the individual based on personalized “Plan of Care”
· Inform the Director of Nursing and any other appropriate personnel of changes in the client’s conditions and needs
· Counsel client and family through care process while updating family on a regular basis
· Assure proper maintenance of clinical records, maintain accurate and timely documentation, and follow protocols set forth by our agency in compliance with local, state, and federal laws
