Description
Starting pay for this position is $11.50/hr and can range up to $12.57 with relevant prior experience .
**This is a field based position that covers anywhere throughout Hillsborough Co.  Other regional transports may be occasionally required**
** The work schedule is currently Monday - Friday with varying hours between 8am - 8pm, as transports may be unplanned.  Flexibility is needed to meet the needs of the clients.**
**Daily work hours may include split days (~4 hours early am; off mid-day; ~4 hours pm).  The work schedule also includes an on-call rotation to cover after hours (Monday - Friday, 8pm - 8am), and 24 hour on Saturdays and Sundays when on rotation. **
**A company paid cell phone and company pool vehicles are available for this role; however, personal transportation may be needed for business use in the event pool vehicles are unavailable.  Mileage reimbursement is available**

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health provides programs and services that reunite families whose children have been removed from the home due to welfare concerns.  Based out of Tampa, FL and providing coverage throughout Hillsborough Co., this position is responsible for supporting Case Managers by transporting clients (children, parents or caregivers) safely and timely to and from appointments and activities, including medical, court, family visitations, and others as needed. This role will make house visits and check-ins on behalf of the Case Manager as required by the individuals' case management plan, and also has oversight of family visitations, documenting and providing findings to the assigned Case Manager.
This role may assist with transporting children to and from school, temporary placements, caregivers after hours, and for weekend appointments as needed.  To meet those needs, the Case Management Support may be needed to work early morning hours, be off mid-day, and return for afternoon shifts, with openness to picking up unscheduled work as unplanned needs may arise.  On-call for evenings and weekends is required on a rotational basis.  This role may be called out in the event of an emergency.

Qualifications
Education:
• High School Diploma or GED required
Experience:
• One year experience in related role such as child care, direct support, case management, transporting or related required
• Prior experience with proper install and usage of child safety restraints in motor passenger vehicles required
Other Requirements:
• Valid Florida Driver's License in good standing
• Bi-Lingual in English Spanish a plus
• Must be able to complete a 3 day new hire orientation class (Monday - Wednesday); Hours are approximately 9:00am to 5:00pm each day
