DACCO Behavioral Health, Inc. is searching for an RN to join our Medication Assisted Treatment team in Tampa, FL! Position Description:
As an RN with MAT, you will assist in managing outpatient and inpatient psychiatric patients. Your responsibilities include managing and billing of physician appointments and documentation within the EHR, assisting patients with filling medications or obtaining medications through Patient Assistance Programs, answering and managing pharmacy phone calls related to medication prescribing (agency wide), and participating in various inpatient/outpatient treatment teams. An ideal candidate will maintain active communication between patients, counselors, and physicians.
The RN position is a full time opportunity, Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm.
Position Requirements:
• Familiar with medical terminology
• Strong interpersonal skills demonstrating the ability to interface with medical care teams, various ED's, clinical staff, and patients
• Working knowledge of substance use disorders and treatments, including MAT, current evidence-based practices, and standards of care
• Strong assessment and data gathering skills
• All personnel are required to undergo a mandatory post-employment offer criminal background check
Required Experience:
• Two years of experience working in a Behavioral Health setting
• Knowledge of 65D-30 and 42CFR a plus
Required Education:
• Current Florida RN License
• BSN preferred
• CARN preferred
