The Case Manager will join our new Project Safe Shelter team , helping individuals experiencing homelessness remain safe in the temporary hotels until permanent housing can be identified. This is an evening position either working 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. or 4:00 p.m. - midnight which will be determined by the needs of the hotels and clients.
The Case Manager will collaborate with the day time case manager in helping the clients achieve any action items and goals that will help them secure permanent housing. Additional, the evening Case Manager, must ensure the safety of the residents and that each client is adhering to the hotel's rules and safety policies.
This position requires an individual who is a fast learner, well-organized, can work independently and at a fast pace, adhere to policy and procedures, communicate clearly and effectively, represent our agency well within the community, and work well with our team.
An individual that has experience with rapid rehousing, housing first, and working with the homeless population is a plus. Knowledge of HMIS is also a plus as it will be used daily.
This is a full time temporary position with the anticipated end date of 3 - 4 months but could go longer depending on community needs. For the right individual, this position could transition to a full time permanent day time case manager position.

After training, this position will be working from one of our partner hotels and must adhere to CDC , state and local guidelines for health safety including wearing a mask and maintaining physical distancing.
