Outreach Associate Job Description
The Outreach Associate is responsible for increasing membership in their assigned center by coordinating Marketing events to promote the center.
Outreach Associate Job Responsibilities (This list not inclusive of all duties assigned)
The right candidate will possess the following skills and abilities:
• Collaborate with the community outreach coordinator and others to plan, implement, and evaluate community activities
• Creates and participate in community and in-house events (Tabletop Displays, Bingo, Parties, etc.)
• Evaluates community and in-house activities results.
• Distributes informational material for members or potentials members creating awareness about our services
• Follows up with members, in order to maintain retention.
• Requires some driving/traveling to clinics and events.
Outreach Associate Skills and Abilities
• Must be highly detail-oriented, provide outstanding customer service, be an enthusiastic professional, and be able to build relationships with internal and external customers.
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
• Strong organizational abilities
• Excellent computer skills
• Physical demands include ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Outreach Associate Qualifications
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1 to 2 years in community/public service related field
• 1 year in sales (preferred) and or the marketing field (preferred)
