Our practice is expanding. We are currently seeking to grow our outpatient facility by adding Physical Therapist Assistant with a focus on Pediatrics.
Details of work environment:
· Outpatient rehabilitation facility
· Most equipment/therapy tools provided
· SOAP notes and testing* provided
· Private room for one-on-one care
· Access to entire facility for patients POC
· Complete access to front staff for scheduling, office materials, medical records, etc.
· Teaching facility with PTA intern students
· Bilingual facility (English/Spanish)
All MUST have:
· State of Florida professional license
· Associates Degree level or greater
· Malpractice and General Liability Insurance:
$1,000,000.00 - $3,000,000.00
· Up to date CEU's (will specify per practice upon application)
· Minimum 5 years PTA experience/work history
· Level II Background screening approved by AHCA
(Agency for Health Care Administration)
· Attention to detail, patience, manual dexterity, empathy, clear communication, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Physical endurance in picking up, lifting and weightbearing of patients, with floor exercises requiring bending and kneeling
· Experience working with patients ranging from Pediatric to Geriatric
Compensation will be per hour as a 1099 contractor with option to W4 employee. Additional details and pay to be discussed upon interview.
