We are looking to add the following to our team:
CNC Code Machine Operator
Pilot Steel, Inc. in Owensboro, KY is hiring for the position of CNC Code Machine Operator.
Duties to Include:
• Daily operation of Multi-Punch Angle Line including CNC programming.
• Daily maintenance of Multi-Punch Angle Line including chip removal, tooling replacement, and lubrication.
• Occasional operation of Multi-Spindle Drill Line, and Plasma generated Plate and Pipe Machinery.
• Daily operation of overhead crane system, including lifting slings and plate clamps.
• Daily lifting up to 50lbs, pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Occasional operation of mobile lifting equipment, including fork lift and telescoping lift.
Requirements:
• Experience preferred in Multi-Punch Angle Line, Plasma Generated Plate and Pipe Machinery.
• Ability to read and understand various types of blueprints, including standard and metric increments.
• Knowledge of CNC coding process.
• Knowledge of CAD software.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic mechanical skills.
• Problem solving skills.
• Overtime as required.
