# Position Highlights: ######## Director Clinical Research Revenue Integrity plays an important role in a high-profile group tasked with improving revenue results by taking a global view of clinical research and financial processes, functions and interdependencies from the provision of clinical research related patient care to final bill(s) generation. Will serve as the technical clinical/ coding lead in research charge segregation integrity. The Director also manages the research financial reviews coordinating and appealing third party charge audits. # The Ideal Candidate: ## Preferred - Forte Research System#s Oncore Clinical Trials Management System {CTMS) knowledge. Preferred - Cerner Millennium#, PowerTrials and Soarian systems knowledge. Background on contract operations or billing compliance. Specific knowledge of Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) code, Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System. Extensive knowledge of charge creation, regulation, charge capture and reconciliation in a research # Responsibilities: # Oversee the management of Clinical Research Revenue Integrity Analysts and Managers (as applicable). ## Maintain research revenue and charge capture oversight. Communicate and coordinate research financial reviews. #Work with other departments to solve difficult payment and associated business office problems including claims processing and billing issues/denial rates across the research revenue cycle as well as escalated patient complaints and audits problem accounts. Collaborate with other departments and track implementation of process improvement initiatives. # Other duties as assigned. # Credentials and Qualifications: ##### Bachelor#s Degree in Health-related field, Finance, Business, or a related field required. ##### A minimum of seven (7) years of health care clinical research revenue charge transparency or associated clinical research auditing experience with at least: ##### A minimum of five (5) years# leadership experience as a manager, director or above.
