Position Title: Logistics Coordinator
Supervision Received: Position reports to Senior Operations Manager
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Job Summary: The Logistics Coordinator will oversee and facilitate the operations of the Independence Bank mailroom located in JROC which includes Mailroom Attendant, Logistics and Procurement responsibilities. This position will ensure internal and external deliveries are processed and oversee vender/supplier visits. Logistics Coordinator will also drive a daily route to drop off/pickup deposits from specific customers in our markets as deemed necessary. This position will be expected to receive all mail deliveries and supplies and transport them to their respective departments within the JROC and Independence Square buildings. The Logistics Coordinator will escort contractor or other maintenance visitors while in our facility. This position will also be responsible for the procurement of bank supplies, including evaluating vendors, pricing of supplies, logistics associated with supply delivery, etc. This position will serve in a role to coordinate in the accurate and timely processing and redirecting of return mail items that come back to the bank. Document Retention duties as assigned.
Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Greeting and acknowledging all external vendors delivering supplies or mail to JROC
• Ensure all visitors/vendors check in with appropriate ID prior to entering JROC
• Escort venders making deliveries or contractor visits (including the shred vender) to any floors or departments of JROC or Independence Square
• Transport and unload supplies and large mail parcels to departments at Independence Square and JROC, including large cases of paper, hardware, equipment, office supplies, etc.
• Facilitate daily pickup/drop off to select business customers in designated counties via bank supplied vehicle
• Develop and facilitate efficient mailroom duties including, but not limited to:
• Pickup mail from USPS each morning
• Sort and distribute incoming mail
• Collect and postage any outgoing mail
• Coordinate external mail pickup
• Maintain internal mail bins and arrange for FedEx delivery to locations as needed
• Operate and maintain mailroom equipment
• Assist with setup/tear down of bank events
• Working Return Mail Items

Working Conditions:
Indoor, environmentally controlled. Usual office working conditions. The noise level in the work environment is typical of most office environments with telephones, personal interruptions, and background noises. Some travel will be required to facilitate the drop off and pick up for select business customers. This would require outdoor, uncontrolled environmental conditions including rain, sleet, snow ice, extreme heat or cold temperatures.
