Assistant Repair Technician
Must live within 15 minutes of Owensboro, KY
An Assistant Repair Technician for Nick T. Arnold Jewelers assists customers with their repair needs for jewelry, watch, and clock repair services. They are responsible for learning and maintaining knowledge of all services such as watch battery and crystal replacement, assisting with clock in home repairs, and engraving charms and other miscellaneous items while maintaining their area in a fresh and orderly manner.
Pay rates are hourly but with attainment of production goals weekly commission per job completed. We focus on promoting from within allowing for full-time opportunities such as Simple-IRA, Health Insurance, and paid time off.
Schedule can be adjusted but most likely will be:
Monday - Saturday 11am -5pm (with 1 day per week as your day off)
(Saturdays are REQUIRED)
More hours available with more training.
All repair skill training Is provided at no cost to you.

• Greet and welcome customers.
• Enter sales in the Point of Sales system.
• Assure customer satisfaction; monitor customer satisfaction at all times.
• Share equally in general housekeeping duties.
• Maintain open communication with team members.
• Follow chain of command for comments and suggestions.
• Participate in regular Staff Meetings.
• Satisfactorily complete the Orientation and Training Program.
• Learn and understand the features and benefits of each repair procedure.
• Demonstrate ongoing development and avid interest In learning new repairing skills.
• Demonstrate commitment to and pursuit of production goals.
• Perform customer follow-up.
