Job Title:  Lab Technician
Job Overview: The Lab Technician tests raw and in process materials and finished products to ensure all are within specifications.
Responsibilities and Duties: Grind tobacco samples and weigh analytical samples. Clean glassware and perform pH measurements.
Qualifications:
• At least 21 years old
• Chemistry or Biology background/student
• Instrumental experience: laboratory procedures, hazardous chemical handling
• Self-starter, attention to detail and quality
• Capable of walking/standing for several hours at a time.
• Ability to use basic lab equipment to include pH meter, oven, glassware washer and analytical balances.
• Exposure to HPLC and GC instrumental methods a plus.
Job Type:
• Temporary initially, 3-4 months with possibility of full-time hire.
Schedule: Monday thru Friday; 20 hours per week
Hourly Rate: $12.00
