Call Center Representative
Must be able to work the following hours:
Hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday-Friday with possibility of overtime.
Vanguard Utility Service, Inc. is a leader in AMR/AMI installations; water, gas and electric meter change outs, testing and repair. We are looking to expand our workforce for the growing demands with career seeking individuals. Vanguard currently has an opening for a Call Center Representative working afternoon/evening hours Monday-Friday & half a day on Saturdays.
Job Description:
As a Call Center Representative you will be placing outbound calls to schedule appointments for water meter replacement of inside meters, as well as returning calls to customers for ongoing meter replacement projects located through out the United States. Call Center Representatives will schedule appointments and communicate the appointment schedules to Project Managers on site at project locations.
Required Skills & Abilities:
Bi-Lingual in Spanish and English preferred
Must have effective communication skills & communicate clearly.
Active listening skills and attention to detail.
Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and follow through.
Ability to handle heavy call volume and stressful situations when quick action is required.
Capability to identify, trouble shoot and resolve escalated customer problems including follow through to ensure customer satisfaction.
Ability to talk and type – Required
Proficiency in Microsoft applications: intermediate level skills in the use of Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Ability to learn Vanguard data base system.
