Job Description Job Description The South East Regional Sales Manager is responsible for profitable sales growth of fluid control solutions and products in niche industrial, life science & medical applications or markets through a multi-channel sales strategy primarily through regional distributors.This individual understands the importance of differentiating value, product sales using consultative selling techniques of our product features & business capabilities to modify products or systems to meet customer's product or application needs.  The Southeast sales territory will include North and South Carolina, Florida, Georgia and Tennessee.  Additional states maybe included.

Responsibilities
• Manage and coordinate all sales activities in the designated region of our products & services.
• Meet regional annual goals & sales quota's for profitable growth
• Deliver personal value through your relationship development & technical expertise.
• Understand customer needs or pain with current products, system, service or the application.
• Develop unique solutions to meet specific needs & deliver real value in our solutions.
• Deliver effective & engaging presentations
• Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service using our returns or escalation process
• Develop, plan & support distribution training needs on existing & new products
• Drive the activity in the opportunity funnel at existing & new OEMs for value added products or systems
• Manage projects effectively using CRM & online tools
• Drive the sales funnel on large opportunity or complex projects to engage our customer & reduce time to order.
• Provide timely monthly reports on activity & project progress
• Implement annual price adjustments & manage contract price negotiations
• Monitor & report on current customer sales or activity performance for future sales strategy adjustments
• Co-ordinate engineer to engineer discussions on large complex modified product projects.
• Build long term relationships through extensive travel throughout the region to create new opportunities.
• Manage & hold accountable our distributors for effective sales lead follow up
• Ensure our channels effectively support marketing campaigns & initiatives.
• Represent the company at regional & national trade shows.
• Effective communication internally to ensure collective response to opportunity & concerns.
Requirements
Authorized to work in the US
Accept a background check to be performed
Accept a drug test to be performed
Profitable sales experience in distribution chain management
Minimum 10 years of sales experience in manufacturing
Willing to travel outside of normal working hours
