A local manufacturing company, specializing in commercial food preparation and packaging is seeking dependable forklift operators to join their dedicated team. Qualified candidates will have a good work ethic and attention to detail with prior forklift experience.
Job Title: Warehouse Associate, Temp to Hire
Shift: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Location: Owensboro, KY
Responsibility for Warehouse Associate:
• Receive shipments
• Tag and label merchandise
• Label and stockpile merchandise according to size, shape, and type
• Box, wrap and pack merchandise in accordance with relevant procedures and standards
• Prepare all orders for shipment
• Record and manage all impaired or damaged merchandise items
• Operate adequate merchandise management tools (i.e. forklift, scanners)
• Ability to follow directions and work independently
Requirements for Warehouse Associate:
• Must have a high school diploma or a G.E.D.
• Must have valid driver’s license
• Previous working experience as a warehouse worker within the food manufacturing industry
• Great physical stamina and manual dexterity
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Must meet requirements for drug screening and criminal background policies
