Job Description

Responsibilities:
• Projects will involve traditional geotechnical design-related foundations, seepage, field exploration, geotechnical analysis and design, laboratory testing, report preparation, inspections, earthwork construction monitoring, forensic analysis and recommendations, and geo-structural design.
• Plan, schedule, conduct or coordinate mid to large size field and laboratory services for a wide range of project type
• Make design, engineering, and construction recommendations, adaptations and modifications
• Perform and oversee geotechnical engineering analyses and evaluations for TxDOT Transportation projects including the design of retaining wall systems, bridge foundations, and roadway pavements
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience
• EIT required PE License preferred
• B.S. in Civil Engineering
• Must have heavy transportation experience
• Ability to read and edit reports
• Must be local or have ties to [location]
• Experience with drilling, estimating, fieldwork, seepage, testing slope stability, and landslide
