This position designs, analyzes, develops, implements, upgrades, tests, administers, troubleshoots, and supports custom and third-party application systems to enhance company efficiency, regulatory compliance, responsiveness and competitive advantage. It also partners with business departments, vendors, and developers to define requirements, research new technologies, explore opportunities, and improve process efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities include (but not limited to):
• Supports the technology objectives of the company by designing, analyzing, developing, implementing, upgrading, testing, troubleshooting, administering, and supporting business systems
• Partners with business departments, vendors, and developers to translate business needs into technology solutions
• Develops a solid understanding of applications being supported
• Increases knowledge of Information Technology methodologies, tools and techniques
• Draws on analytical experience to develop a variety of solutions for moderately complex problems
• Adheres to department values, policies, procedures, methodologies, and security and / or confidentiality requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 2+ years’ experience in software development
• Strong Collaboration Skills
• Analytical and Organized
• Experience with Microsoft .NET (C#)
• Experience with Front End JavaScript
• Experience with Web Services (WCF, WebAPI, or REST)
Preferred
• Major in Computer Science or similar technical degree
• Experience with ESRI GIS tools
• Experience with Python
• Experience with Web Clients (Angular, React or TypeScript)
• Experience with Windows Applications including WPF – XAML, MVVM, Prism
• Experience with custom-developed Windows services
• Experience with automated builds and deployment
• Experience with unit testing technologies
• Experience with database design and SQL querying
• Experience with SSRS, Cognos or other reporting tools
• Experience in Agile Application Development & Scrum methodologies
• Experience with Infor EAM a plus
• Project management experience a plus
