Job Description
Our client is looking for a General Maintenance Manager with a minimum of 7-years of experience supervising mechanical and electrical skilled trades hourly people. You will be planning and coordinating the maintenance efforts to insure optimum productivity and minimal downtime. It is critical that a high level of maintenance is achieved and maintained in order to achieve an aggressive shipping schedule.
Job Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will have the following personal traits and/or job responsibilities:
• BS in Engineering is required, but appropriate experience will be considered.
• Must have 7+ years’ experience in electrical, hydraulic and mechanical troubleshooting and have supervised craft person in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
• Safety is a core value and the successful candidate must be able to drive safety to an injury free workplace.
• The ideal candidate will be someone who is an “Out-of-the-Box” thinker and someone who knows how to use all resources to generate new solutions and ideas to improve equipment reliability.
• Profit focus/results oriented are key competencies.
• Demonstrated ability to work in team environment and manage self directed work teams.
• Hands-on experience and knowledge of lean manufacturing, ISO, Six Sigma and EH&S are critical skills for this position.
• Good working knowledge of CMMS and computer skills are important. SAP experience is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
• Base compensation is between $95,000 - $100,000+ and bonus.
• The company offers a full benefit program that includes medical, dental, 401K, etc.
