Job Description Job Description We are a pain and primary care clinic seeking a Clinic And Procedure Nurse to join our team! You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of assigned patients. Depending on experience and skills, rapid advancement is possible. Initial role will be in patient triage, history taking, assisting physician with clinic and procedures. With experience and progress, roles include more advanced roles in procedures and clinic including administration of sedation, monitoring, preparing patients, and documentation.
Responsibilities:
• Administer nursing care to chronic pain and primary care patients
• Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans
• Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
• Monitor prescription drug usage and compliance
• Enter in triage information, patient health questionnaire
• Assist in procedures including use of fluoroscope, patient positioning, and sedation medication
• Monitor patients undergoing procedures in pre and post procedure period
• Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
• Maintain accurate patient medical records
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
• Familiarity with medical software and equipment
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Computer Skills and electronic medical record management (EMR)
• Multitasking and managing workflow in a clinic setting
