Grinder / Polisher Position
Hausner Hard Chrome, a well-established and respected business, is searching for a full-time Grinder / Polisher for multiple shifts. We are looking for a candidate with the following knowledge and skill set:
• Follows Job Card instructions and inspects incoming and outgoing parts
• Calibrate Inspection Equipment
• Grinds and Polishes parts to Pre and Post Specifications
• Reads blueprints
• Daily tasks to include balancing, grinding, polishing, turning, and other applicable processes
• Operates cranes, manual grinders, lathes, welders, sandblaster, hand and power tools for required polishing/grinding to ensure all work is successfully completed
• Assures timely transfer of part(s) to the next step in process
• Use of specialized measuring devices (i.e. tape measure, calipers, depth gauges, micrometers, etc.)
• Sandblasting
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and make minor repairs to machinery/equipment
• Occasional weekend
• Other duties as assigned
Training/background
• Minimum of 5 years of Grinding / Polishing experience.
