Job Description Job Description This PRN position is available for licensed Registered Nurses located in KY, SC, VA and NC. This position involves providing infusion therapy nursing services to patients in their homes. Nursing skills/duties performed include catheter access & care (peripheral IVs, port-a-caths, PICC/central lines), vitals/assessments, medication administration (Abx, TPN, IVIG, and other specialty meds), blood draws, patient education on self-administration of medication, and other similar skilled nursing duties.
Registered Nurse should possess a current Registered Nurse license and be competent in the duties described above with a minimum 1 year experience in infusion therapy and/or catheter maintenance and care. Registered Nurse must also have reliable transportation, access to a printer/scanner/fax machine, and be able to communicate promptly with our scheduling personnel. Pay is allocated on a per visit basis and dependent on the length of the visit and distance traveled. Registered Nurse should have no less than 5 hours of time available each week to complete visit(s).
