VENDING ROUTE DRIVER
$12.00 per hour + commission potential
*Early morning start time*

JOB EXPECTATIONS
Drives truck over established route to deliver vending products and render services, collects money from customers, and makes change by performing the following duties.
General:
• Establishes good rapport with service location employees to ensure customer satisfaction through verbal communication and provides excellent service.
• Drives truck to deliver vending products to businesses and industrial locations.
• Checks for outdated merchandise and fills machine to correct inventory levels.
• Responsible for balancing truck inventory once a week.
• Responsible for balancing machine vendors on a consistent basis.
• Collects money from vendors, makes change, records transactions and delivers money to coin room daily.
• Maintains and updates daily service cards and iPads of record meter readings on vending machines and coffee unit sales of all products.
• Determines and places product orders for proper product assortment. Maintain records on throwaways daily. Daily sandwich orders.
• Maintains and cleans machines inside and out on a daily basis, depending upon service schedule. Performs very basic vending machine mechanics; reports all other maintenance problems to maintenance personnel on a timely basis.
• Stocks condiments, utensils and properly cleans and maintains condiment and microwave stations.
• Listens to and resolves service complaints when servicing accounts.
• Reports vending related issues or problems to supervisor on a daily basis.
• Loads truck with vending products and changers.
• Cleans inside and out of company vehicle and keeps tidy daily.
• Performs routine maintenance on company vehicle.
• Operates Canteen vehicle in a safe manner at all times.
• Responsible for performing all job duties in a safe manner.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and Experience: High School Diploma, GED, or combination of related experience and/or training. Must be at least 18 years of age.
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in a one-on-one and/or small group situation to customers, clients and employees alike.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Computer Skills: Basic computer knowledge and iPad usage.
Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations: Valid Motor Vehicle Operator’s License, DOT Medical Certification (provided) and a good driving record .
