CONTRACTOR Job Description
• Essential job functions will include analyzing documents such as bank statements, pay check stubs, and tax forms and submitting additional requests for additional documentation needed. Communication and partnering within internal departments will be vital to ensure all documents are received.
• You may also be responsible for communicating with the customer requesting specific additional documentation.
• Key attributes of the ideal candidate will include strong attention to detail, strong analysis skills and prior experience with mortgage documents.
• Open to new college graduates.
• Some banking experience preferable.
Job Requirements
• In a nutshell, these contractors will be taking inbound calls from Loss mitigation (customers going through hardships).
• The customers are unable to make mortgage payment and will have to fill out an application to reduce loan payment.
• The contractor will need to be able to navigate through various screens and analyze the applications and prepare for underwriters.
• They will also be looking at income documents (part of application).
• They need to manage time well, have good analytically skills, and ability to navigate through various screens.
• Helpful to have experience with mortgage documents but not required.
