The BusinessEQ brings together businesses and workforce developers to share information and bring transparency to the market place.

Businesses throughout a region enter their labor needs into the Portal. This information is fed into a real-time model of the regional labor market showing supply and demand gaps for occupations and skills. Trainers and workforce developers use the Portal to follow changes taking place in the market place.

The BusinessEQ allows you, as a business owner or operator, to view your needs against the available workforce. You can see if the skills or workers you need are in short supply or available in excess. If the skilled workers you seek are not available, you can examine related occupations, workers with skill sets similar to what you seek and working in occupations with similar or lower wages. Other valuable information is also made available to you: unemployment, average wages, employment by industry, historical trends, and more.
